Edie Premazon

Ms. Edie is the director and co-owner of The Education Station. After many years of teaching, training, and child advocacy, the choice to co-own The Education Station has been a wonderful learning experience. Actively participating in the growth, guidance and education of the children is the best part of each day.

Prior to The Education Station, Ms. Edie has taught grades from Pre-K to high school in a religious school and English Language Arts at Yes Prep in Houston. She has designed curriculum and provided trainings in teambuilding, non-verbal communication, and mediation for schools, fortune 500 companies and law firms. Additionally, she is an attorney and worked on behalf of children with the Office of the Attorney General managing the foster care division. However, the most fulfilling experience she has had is raising her son, Joseph who now is a sophomore at the University of Texas.

Rita Cajas

Ms. Cajas is the Lead teacher in our two year old classroom. In 2008, she moved to Houston and started working at The Education Station and has since then obtained a CDA in Early Childhood Education. When she’s not with her two year old class, she loves spending time with her family, reading, or gardening. Ms. Cajas is wonderful with the two year olds and interacts with each one of them with so much love and patience. She is passionate in supporting each child as their desire to learn and explore increases.

Alis Medina

Ms. Medina is our lead teacher in our three year old classroom. She was born in Guatemala where she also attended college and pursued a degree in Math. She started working at The Education Station in 1998 and has been with us for 22 years now. She has experience working with toddlers and two year olds, but takes the greatest pleasure in working with the three year olds. Ms. Medina is very patient as she guides the children to explore, learn, and grow. She provides a warm and welcoming environment every day, and encourages each child to learn and play.

Rosalinda Medrano

Ms. Medrano is the lead teacher in our Infant room. She has been with The Education Station for 18 years now and has a CDA in Early Childhood Education. She takes great joy in giving each child love and devotion as they slowly start exploring their new environment.  Ms. Medrano loves working with children and helping them learn and reach their developmental milestones as they grow. When she’s not with our babies in TES, she spends her time with her husband, 2 beautiful daughters, and 8 grandchildren.

Kelsey Phillips

Ms. Phillips is our toddler room teacher. She joined The Education Station two years ago but has years of experience in childcare. She is very patient with the children and loves teaching them through fun songs and dances. Her vibrant personality is always present as she interacts with children of all ages, and creates a warm and engaging learning environment for the children.
