OUR PROGRAMS

The educational programs at The Education Station were created with our children’s needs in mind: to mature and develop in a safe yet stimulating environment. Take a look below to learn more about each program.

Infants/Toddlers (6 weeks – 2 yrs. old)

For our youngest travelers time schedules are flexible and smooth, dictated by each child’s needs. The Infant and Toddler programs focus on sensory, exploratory, expressive and sharing experiences. Teachers recognize that routine tasks, such as eating, using the bathroom and dressing are important opportunities to help children learn about their world, acquire skills and regulate their own behavior at our earliest childhood “stops”.

Teachers recognize infants & toddlers need to repeat tasks until they master the steps and skills. Caregivers allow each child to go at their own pace using Creative Curriculum and learning centers.  Infants & Toddlers are frequently read to in small groups, and Spanish is incorporated into daily lessons. Teachers expect our little engineers to explore and manipulate art materials, toys, books, blocks, and costumes. When Toddlers reach an age they feel confident and unafraid to potty train, teachers invite them to use the toilet, help them as needed and provide positive reinforcement throughout the process.

Preschool (3-4 yrs. old)

Our teachers plan and prepare a learning environment that fosters children’s active exploration of materials, engagement with other children and adults. Daily schedules are followed in each classroom allowing for alternating periods of active and quiet time, family style eating, themed lessons daily and naptime. Teachers aid in each child’s development of language and communication skills by talking with them throughout the day, speaking clearly, and listening carefully to their responses, while also allowing them time to talk to each other. Curriculum goals address learning in all developmental areas (physical, social, emotional, language, aesthetic, and intellectual). Curriculum content from various disciplines, such as math, science, and social studies is integrated through themes, projects, play and other learning experiences.

Schooler’s Before & After School Program/Summer Camps (5-12 yrs. old)

We understand how important it is for working parents to make sure their children are in a safe and comfortable learning environment while they are away from school or home. Computers are provided for access to internet based homework including but not limited to Schoology, Reflex Math, Education Galaxy, and ABCYA. Tablets are on hand for distance learning sessions and Zoom meetings. Teachers are trained and available to assist students in any online classwork they have. TES also provides afterschool planned activities that are themed weekly, outside time, and snack.

Transportation

Vans are provided for a safe way to get to school in the morning and be picked up in the afternoon. We can pick up from all elementary and middle schools within a 5 mile radius of our location. If you have any questions about a school that might be slightly beyond that, do not hesitate to call and ask about additional arrangements.
